Oh Goodness
I've been a bad blogger. Ah well, what do you do?
Thankgiving was great--Mom and Gary and my Uncle Bob and Aunt Carol came down from Tulsa and Sarah came up from Austin. I made a turkey (gross while raw, easy to cook though) and everyone pitched in on the fixins.
Also coming down from Tulsa was a truckload of furniture! The family spent the rest of the time staining and refinishing antique beds, dressers, bookcases, and a sewing machine! It was hard work, but the finished product is beautiful!

It was a fabulous time! Katie, you did a great job with the turkey, dressing, and wonderful pumpkin pies! The best place for Thanksgiving a family could have! There are antique dishes on the table from Nana that were purchased from "occupied Japan" ... note the creamer with pink roses...holding gravy:) Sarah, got some refinished furniture, too. We made some great memories & are very thankful for all our blessings.
