Dry Bones Dinner

I am overwhelmed by the generosity of my friends here in Dallas.

On Saturday night, Shanta and I hosted a fundraising dinner for Dry Bones at my house. The plan was simple: we asked for a $10 donation for dinner, plus devloped a strategy (Southwest Airlines plane tickets to raffle off) to encourage new people to sign up as monthly supporters. Well, long story short, we had more than 60 folks come over for some tasty taco stack up, and we raised more than $5,160 in cash, checks, and pledges for Dry Bones! It was great to see Matt and Nikki, and to hear them share the story of the Dry Bones ministry with so many believers. What a great night!
